Performance Description : This free event will feature three different stories told through sand art. From underwater adventures to magical scenes inspired by Frozen, each story unfolds live through the movement of sand and music. There will also be a special opportunity for audience members to try sand art themselves during the performance. It will be a warm and inspiring experience for children and families alike.

Sand art is a unique art form that tells stories using only light and sand. With her hands, the artist continuously transforms flowing sand into evolving scenes - all projected in real time and accompanied by music.

About the Artist

Kelly Choo is a professional sand artist who has performed at schools, corporate events, and public institutions in Korea. She is now based in Calgary and shares sand art with Canadian communities through creative and inspiring performances.
